Delelott Amyekkel, Brian unokatestverevel es ferjevel bruncholtunk egy Toast nevu helyen, ahol isteni avokados breakfast burritot ettem :)
Ezek utan pedig elmentunk egy helyi supermarket lancba, a Mariano`sba. Hat en beleszerettem es neztem is hogy van e barmilyen munka..
Aki ismer, tudja, hogy kikoltozesunk elott a Tescoban dolgoztam, es tobbe kevesbe imadtam, de elbujhat a Mariano`s mogott.. ilyen friss gyumiket es zoldsegeket nem lattam meg, van amelyiknel egy kis parasito is volt, ami folyamatosan `ontozte` oket. A valesztekrol ne is beszeljunk, de az nem csak a frissarura vonatkozik. Mindenbol kostolot adnak, sajtkbol, felvagottakbol amibol szeletelve kertunk... de nem csak egy kis kockat.. tobbfele bar is volt a supermarket teruleten: osztriga, smoothie es bor bar. Az emberek konkretan borospoharral a kezukben vasaroltak.

Szoval vagy egy orat vasaroltunk.. es hihetetlen de vannak termekek, amelyek csak egy kicsivel vagy egyaltalan nem dragabbak otthonhoz kepest.. csak itt meg raadasul tobbet is keresnek az emberek. Hazafele ismet a Lyftet valasztottuk, igy nem kellett cipekedunk.
Elkezdtunk lakast keresni online, illetve folytattuk a munkakeresest is bar en foleg a keddi allasborzeben remenykedek. Szoval tessek szurkolni :)
Ma kiprobaltam az alagsorban levo mosogepet. Itt az a divat, hogy egy egy haznak kozos mosogepe es szaritogepe van. 2 dollar a mosas es a szaritas is. Az egyetlen hatranya, hogy egy darab van, es ma peldaul valaki a mosogepben hagyta a ruhajat, igy 10 percekent mentem le, hogy kivette-e mar, hogy lecsapjak en a mosogepre.
A delutani kutyasetank pedig 5 km lett, mert egy hatalmas korben elindultunk, hatha talalunk a kornyeken kiado lakast.. ez a kornyek csodalatos.. olyan hazk vannak, hogy percenkent mutogattuk egymasnak, hogy nezd azt, nem azt, uristen es az!! Talaltunk egy open house-t is, vagyis be lehetett menni az elado hazba korulnezni, de miutan megtudtuk, hogy 1.3 millio dollar, gondoltuk, hogy azzal inkabb meg varunk :)
Utkozben megtalaltuk a magyar templomot is, illetve a magyar filmklubbot, amit szerintem, ha a kornyeken maradunk meg is latogatok majd parszor. Amugy hihetetlen mennyi lengyel es ukran lakos van, a parkban ahol elsetaltunk nem is hallottunk angol szot.
De mindenki baratsagos, koszonnek, beszedbe elegyednek velunk, szoval azon kivul, hogy hianyzik a csalad es a baratok, eddig minden nagyon tetszik :)

Today morning we started out with winter, but ended the day with real spring weather.. The rain has stopped and actually became really warm, so we could ditch the winter jacket and just walk around in a sweater.
We met up with Brian`s cousin, Amy and her husband, Brandon and got brunch together at a place called Toast. Had a lovely breakfast burrito with avocado.. was so yummi :)
After that we were advised to check out Mariano`s to do our grocery, and was a great choice as we fell in love with that place. Wonderful fresh products, great quality, no availability issues :D and range of products like crazy.. Sampling for everything, bar in the store... watching people shopping with a glass of wine.. was so funny :)
We got home again by taking Lyft, so did not really have to carry the bags. That app is so handy, love it. I also did laundry in the basement, which is not to expensive, 2 bucks.. however the only annoying thing is that, there is only one washing machine.. and someone left their stuff in it, so had to keep checking on it, if it is free or not..
We started to look for apartments and continue job hunting online, but in the afternoon we went for a big walk with Fluff to see if there is anyhing available in the neighborhood.. ended up walking like 5K.. such a wonderful buildings we saw.. we literally could move in almost all of them.. love the balconys, patios, front / back yards.. people are super friendly and helpful.
We saw an open house today, and we were about to check out but then found out was 1.3 millon dollar, so i guess it is a little bit out of our budget :D By the way i found the hungarian church really close to us, so i might check it out soon.
We keep pinching each other that hey we are here in the usa.. after all the planning.. so crazy.. of course we are missing our family and friends, but beside that we are really excited and actually happy to be here :)
